WELCOME !

I am an evangelical Christian and believe that GOD wants His people to have sexual relations solely between man & woman in a committed relationship (ie "marriage"). I want to encourage those who are in a single-sex relationship to think about the possibility of repenting and returning to what God intended for His people (ie Christians..those who follow Jesus Christ). If you are not a follower of Christ I have no assertions for what God intended for you. I am speaking to those who believe in Jesus Christ (or say they do) and those who want to START following Christ. I have no assertions for those of you not included in this group. I don't have an answer for those who don't know Christ or don't have any inclination to know Him. For those who DO I WANT you to know that it is possible to give up a lifestyle that is contrary to God's intentions. I don't speak from experience in terms of homosexuality. I am not homosexual nor have I ever practiced a homosexual lifestyle nor have I had any inclinations in that regard, but I am a sinner and know that BY FAITH & GRACE I can be forgive and overcome sinful inclinations or habits, and SO CAN YOU. "SIN" should not be thought so much of "rights" and "wrongs" as much as activities (or lack of) that separate or distance  us from a relationship with a loving God.I will be posting more about this topic periodically, so just check back from time to time. This is NOT a gay-bashing site, but an encouraging positive site. There are professionals and others who know much more about this topic than me...and i will probably post links to them as well. Also, I am not speaking in a supercillious manner. Ironically, despite being NOT gay I have actually experienced persecution for being wrongly perceived as gay and I did NOT like it or appreciate it. I don't like gay-bashers. I am an encourager of all sinners to move closer to God by removing the barriers that separate us from our relationship with Him. -vk-
